What I wish I would have known?

Before I started my journey I had no clue where to even begin. I knew I was in pain and had all these crazy symptoms like gaining weight constantly, bloating, and fatigue and I knew I was tired of feeling this way. So I decided to start researching the connection between foods and my feelings. But the only way I could make the connection was to keep a food journal.

My first advice to everyone who is struggling with food sensitivities and gut issues, is to keep track of your foods that you eat. Write the time of day you ate the food and every single ingredient in it, down to the spices. There are so many things that can irritate your gut especially when the gut lining has been damaged.

After you track your foods for around a month then I would look back at all the symptoms you had to the foods that seemed to anger your gut and highlight them. Take them to your health coach and doctor so they can review them to see why they are making your stomach hurt.

Then your doctor and health coach can work together to come up with a designed plan to help you remove the foods, heal your gut and then replace the foods over time.

If you want to discuss this process further, then contact me for more information. We can work together to review your food journals and design a plan that will give your stomach the necessary gut healing it needs.
